You're right that we're now at the point where immediate and drastic measures like what you proposed are necessary to avert climate and social collapse. And as the comments show, even those who understand the situation are unwilling to voluntarily take these steps, much less those who are in denial or putting their faith in techno-utopianism.

The only thing left is to work on a Noah's Ark. Find remote places on Earth less impacted by collapse to rebuild society from a non-fossil fuel, post-capitalist, and regenerative foundation. This is what I'm doing. You should get started too before it's too late.
