Thank you for this article. If voting rights and filibuster reform aren't done before the mid term election, American democracy is screwed. The GOP will then likely have control of the senate and maybe even the house. The Dems will lose the next General election due to disillusionment and anger with a lame duck Biden. The GOP won't even end to steal the election by getting their cronies to overturn the results at state level. With the presidency, house and senate under their control, the GOP will get rid of the filibuster the moment the Dems tries to use it the way they did. Then the purge of anyone who would defend democracy will start. Within a year, America becomes a fascist state.
