If all CRT does is to be honest about American history then you won't see so many non-black minorities speaking out against it. Many black writers are also against it now. See for example Glenn Loury. It is so easy to pretend that anyone criticism of CRT must be from the conservative racist right. That itself is a blindness due to being uncomfortable with CRT's hypocrisy and how that is playing out in society, contributing in no small ways to the extreme polarization today.

This is not a problem you can get out of by claiming CRT in academia is not the same as woke as practiced by the hoards. I don't see any of the high priest of CRT like Kendi or Diangelo speaking out on how racist the practice of CRT has become.
